I drew this a while back after reading 'the Tiger's Wife' by Tea Obreht. I was hooked by the idea of a giant tiger wrapped up with a strange, dark haired woman. Admittedly my tiger is much happier and friendlier than your average big cat might be if you tried to hug it!
i've heard good things about this book, but your painting makes me want to read it more than anything! too cute!
